Who runs this site
I’m Jeremy Elay Šrankota, based in Ružomberok, Slovakia. JES Photography is the name I use for my photography and is not currently a registered business. I personally read and respond to website enquiries. To contact me about your information, use the contact form or my linked Instagram account. I have not published a telephone number or a public receiving email address.
Contact enquiries
The contact form asks for your name, email address, message, optional telephone number, and an explicit unchecked privacy-consent checkbox. Your selected website language is included so I know which language you used. These details are used to consider your request and reply to you. Sending a message does not confirm a booking. The server validates requests and reports errors honestly; provider acceptance means accepted for delivery, not guaranteed arrival in my inbox.
How messages are processed
The website is hosted by Vercel, and the domain’s DNS is managed through Cloudflare. The contact endpoint sends enquiries through Resend to my Gmail inbox, provided by Google. I am the only person handling the enquiries, alongside the processing needed to operate those services. Reply-To is set to the email address you provide. No enquiry database is maintained by this application. The sending address is an outgoing identity, not a public mailbox for replies.
Retention is still undecided
I have not yet decided how long to keep enquiry emails, including requests that do not lead to a shoot. There is no automatic email-deletion schedule configured by this website, and I am not promising a retention period here. Retention, the applicable legal grounds, provider arrangements, and international-transfer information require review and completion.
Storage on your device
Local storage remembers dismissal of the storage notice using editorial-storage-notice. Session storage remembers the first-entry animation using editorial-entry. Neither is used for advertising or profiling. You can reset them by clearing site data in your browser. Language selection is represented by the page URL, not a tracking cookie. The website remains readable if browser storage is unavailable.
Server processing & security
The enquiry endpoint validates request origin, body size, message length, contact fields, consent and a hidden spam field. Temporary in-memory limits and Vercel's platform rate limit use network-address information. When you open the contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile loads to check for automated abuse; Cloudflare processes browser and network security signals, and the server verifies its single-use token before sending email. The application does not log message contents, verification tokens or email credentials. Hosting, security and email providers may process technical access, delivery and security information under their own policies. Their retention settings have not been independently audited for this notice.
External services & delivery
No analytics, advertising pixels, embedded Instagram feed, or third-party fonts are installed. Fonts and photographs are served from this website. Instagram is opened only when you select its link. Edited photographs are shared through Google Drive or Google Photos by individual agreement; those services apply their own privacy and sharing settings. I must confirm appropriate publication permission before adding photographs featuring other people, including camp photographs.
Your information & questions
You can choose not to submit personal information, clear browser storage, and contact me about access, correction, or deletion of information you have sent. Requests and any applicable rights are considered under the relevant law; this unfinished notice does not replace a legal review. Photography & credits
The portfolio photographs are my own work, provided for this website. The portrait, landscape and architecture galleries contain 20 photographs from three outings. Publication permission for the portrait set was confirmed before adding it. Web copies are resized and stripped of embedded image metadata; originals remain private. Dates and locations follow my supplied folder labels. Oswald is distributed under the SIL Open Font License. All decorative line drawings are original.
